The Victory Ship | Portsmouth AttractionThe Portsmouth Historic Dockyard founded by Henry,  some of the interesting things to see at  the Dockyard are HMS Victory (1759) Maryrose (1540) HMS Warrior (1860),  over 500 years of sea-faring history all in one place. 

Not far from the Dockyard is the D-Day Museum, Southsea Castle (1545), Charles Dickens Birthplace (1812) and two modern shopping centres, one is Gunwharf Quays which also houses the Spinnaker Tower, plus Commercial Road shopping centre.  There are many more attractions around the area.
